By Kilian issues three new versions of already existing fragrances in bottles illustrated by American artist Sophie Matisse, Henri Matisse's great-granddaughter.

Sophie studied at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and at Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris. She became famous after exhibiting her work series Back in 5 minutes—copies of classical paintings without their protagonists on canvas. The most admired one became, evidently, a reinterpretation of La Gioconda.

In 2008 Kilian Hennessy made a shared project with Sophie Matisse. It resulted in fifty bottles painted by hand and signed by Sophie.

The new collaboration repeats the same idea: there will be three bottles, painted to reflect the mood of the perfumes they contain.
Bamboo Harmony by Sophie Matisse
Bamboo Harmony: "Color explosion in a new edition of one of the cult fragrances By Kilian"
Straight to Heaven by Sohie Matisse
Straight to Heaven Eau Fraiche: "New spring interpretation of Straight to Heaven, whose crystal whiteness inspired Sophie to create the bottle with blue and green curl" [Author's note: at the moment we don't have clear information about whether the formula was changed and will update the article as soon as we have it]
Good Girl Gone Bad by Sophie Matisse
Good Girl Gobe Bad Eau Fraiche:"a yellow-orange-pink bouquet illustrates a fresher version of Good Girl Gone Bad".
The new launches are expected in boutiques starting from May,1 2015. There will be only 1500 copies of these bottles in the world.
