ACEROLA or Barbados cherry is a tropical fruit growing in South America, South Mexico, Central America, as well as in subtropical parts of Asia. The flowers have pale red or dark pink petals, with five petals in a flower. After three years of blossoming, the first fruits develop— they resemble cherries and are red. They contain a high percentage of vitamin C.
| CARAMBOLA/STAR FRUITgrows in areas of the Philippines, Malaysia, Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, South America and the Caribbean. This fruit also belongs to tropical fruit and the tree can growth up to 1200 m height. Star fruit contains a high percentage of vitamin C and is rich in antioxidants. It is green-yellow in color. | GOIABA - GUAVA is a tropical fruit grown and cultivated in subtropical and tropical regions. Guava grows in Mexico, Central America and northern part of South America. Guava flowers are white and have five petals. Guava fruit is round, with pink flesh and has a lemonish, tart scent. The fruit is green before it becomes ripe. |
